The .NET Framework is an essential part of numerous applications running on Windows and offers common functionality for all those applications to run. For developers, the .NET Framework comes with a consistent development model for building applications. if you work with the Windows based pc, the .NET Framework may be installed on your pc. Specifically, the .NET Framework 4.5 is integrated with Windows 8, the .NET Framework 4.5.1 is integrated with Windows 8.1 and also the .NET Framework 4.6 is included with Windows 10.

Enable the .NET Framework 3.5 in Windows  Control Panel

You can enable the .NET Framework 3.5 yourself through Control Panel. This method requires an Internet connection.

  • Press the Windows key Windows logo in your keyboard, type Windows Features, and press Enter. This brings up the Turn Windows features on or off dialog box. Alternately, open Control Panel, click on the Programs items, and then click on “Turn Windows features on or off” under Programs and Features.
  •  Select the .NET Framework 3.5 (includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0) check box, press OK, and reboot your pc if prompted. Then download and install th e.Net 3.5 Framework.
